Weddings

First of all, may we offer our congratulations on your forthcoming wedding and we guess, seeing that you are looking at our website, that you are contemplating asking if you can have your wedding ceremony at St. Michael's in Chenies,or at Latimer or Flaunden.

For information about legal issues, general matters and background information; can we direct you to the Church of England website - here - (link to Church of England website) and then come back to this site and carry on.

(Wedding information is on a link on their home page.)

If you want to ask us questions please simply email us. For information about getting married in any of the churches in the Benefice, the first step is to download an INITIAL ENQUIRY FORM from The Filing Cabinet (be sure to use the right year!) and send it electronically to the Rector in the first instance. The form will then go to our Benefice Weddings Administrator, Ruth Lawrie, who will contact you in due course.
NB: if you are getting married elsewhere and needs your Banns read in any of the Benefice Parishes,
the Banns form is also in The Filing Cabinet

Once we have acknowledged the form then we invite couples who want to get married in the parish to come to any morning service at the church they would like to be married in and have a cup of coffee with a member of staff afterwards; that gives us an opportunity to talk to you and gives you an opportunity to see what we are like. If you want to wander round the churches they are open every day from 9.30am until 5pm.
