Weddings in the Chenies Benefice

Beauty and Meaning

We are blessed to be custodians of beautiful buildings set in stunning countryside. Church weddings offer a sense of meaning to the occasion, as we stand where generations have stood before, and have committed their lives to their beloved.

Warmth and Welcome

Many of those who are married here spend time worshipping with us before they are married. You can be sure of a warm welcome, and an opportunity to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

Preparation and Planning

We work closely with couples to ensure that the planning for their wedding runs smoothly, and that they are as prepared as possible for the transition into married life and all that may follow.

What to do next…

First step

Clicking on the image above will open the wedding enquiry form. We’ll then get in touch with you and invite you along to a service for an informal chat with the rector to put some plans in the diary.

Second step

The image above will open the Banns application form. Once you have had a chance to talk with a member of our clergy team, we’ll ask you to fill this is as the basis of your marriage licence.

Third step

Finally we will be working with you to ensure you have the best possible experience, not just on the day but throughout the preparations and in any way you need us in the future.

You can find answers to some of our FAQ’s through the link above.
